Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-09
This page explains what information VPNAK's cross-border network acceleration service touches during signup, subscription, and connection, what each piece of information is used for, how long it is kept, and how users can look it up or delete it. Each clause follows the actual service flow, and steps involving third parties are listed separately.
Data collection scope and purposes
Signing up requires only a username and password; no email address is required. Passwords are stored as irreversible hashes, and the system never keeps plaintext passwords. If you add an email address to your account yourself for password recovery, it is used only to send verification messages and account notices.
- Account information. Username, password hash, signup date, and subscription status, used for login verification and subscription syncing.
- Order and payment records. Plan name, amount, payment method (Alipay / WeChat / USDT), order number, and creation time, used to activate subscriptions, reconcile accounts, and process refunds.
- Connection and usage records. Connection start and end times, the route used, total data transferred, and client platform, used for usage metering, troubleshooting, and account protection.
- Visit statistics. Aggregated data such as page views on the website and user panel, referring pages, and device types, used to assess page availability and improve content.
These records are used only to the extent necessary to provide the subscription service, verify usage, and handle after-sales requests, and never for purposes unrelated to your subscription.
No-logs stance: browsing activity is not recorded
The service does not record which websites users visit, does not log DNS queries, does not store transmitted content, and does not keep browsing history. Traffic passing through the routes is forwarded only; nothing is retained or analyzed at the content level.
What is not recorded: the websites and page addresses you visit, DNS query records, transmitted content, and browsing history.
Metering and troubleshooting require a small set of technical records: connection start and end times, the route used, and total data transferred. These records contain no destination information and cannot be used to reconstruct what a user accessed.
Connection records roll over as operations require and are not accumulated long-term. VPNAK does not sell or trade user data, and does not use user traffic for profiling or advertising.
Cookies and local storage
The website and user panel use browser local storage and cookies for session persistence, language memory, and visit statistics. No third-party advertising cookies are used.
- Login token. Stored in browser local storage so you do not have to sign in on every visit; deleted when you log out or clear your browser data.
- Language preference. Stored in local storage so your next visit opens directly in the language you previously selected.
- Statistics cookies. Used to count page views and their sources; results are aggregated and are not used for cross-site behavioral tracking.
You can clear cookies and local storage in your browser settings. After clearing, you will need to sign in again; purchased subscriptions and remaining data allowances in your account are unaffected.
Payments are handled by third parties
Payments are completed through Alipay, WeChat, or USDT, and the payment itself takes place on the respective provider's page. This site never touches or stores full payment credentials, bank card details, or wallet private keys.
The provider sends back the order number, amount, and payment result, which are used to activate the subscription and reconcile accounts. Refunds follow the 7-day no-questions-asked policy and are returned through the original payment channel; see the Refund Policy for details.
Data retention and deletion
Retention periods differ by purpose; records are deleted or anonymized once they expire:
- Account information. Kept for as long as the account exists; deleted when the account is closed, except for records that must be retained for legal or financial reasons.
- Order and payment records. Kept for a reasonable period after the subscription expires, for account reconciliation, refund processing, and dispute review.
- Connection and usage records. Rolled over as operations require; only recent data is kept for metering and troubleshooting.
- Visit statistics. Kept in aggregate form, with no information that can identify a specific individual.
To look up or delete your account data, submit a ticket in the user panel, or start account closure from your account settings while signed in. Once closure is complete, your account information and subscription records are deleted together, and the action cannot be undone. If the account still has an active subscription or unused data packs, consider whether you need to request a refund before closing it.
How this policy is updated
This policy changes along with service processes and compliance requirements. After an update, the revision date at the top of the page is updated in sync, and the clause text is rewritten directly; no historical versions are kept.
For material changes such as the scope of data collection or retention periods, a notice is posted in the user panel. Continuing to use the service means you accept the updated terms; if you do not, you can request account closure and data deletion in your account settings.
For situations not covered on this page, submit a ticket through the user panel. See also the Terms of Service and Refund Policy.
